Each team member must meet the following criteria to be allowed to participate in the competition: 1. Each team must consist of three people 2. The members must have active student status at their home university or they must be actively building a startup of their own. 3. The cases are to do with stategic decisions, organizational challenges, as well as operational, marketing, competition, market entry and investment decisions. Make sure you and your team have some background in these topics.

This year, Deep Dive will be organized as a two step competition. In the qualifications, you will be competing against other teams for the case championship. The winners of each case get to go to the finals, where all finalist teams will compete against each other for the Deep Dive championship.

The qualifications will be held over two weekends, you will only attend one of the weekends.

The teams with the best analytical backgrounds and a clear will to work with technology that defines our future will be the ones preferred. Deep Dive seeks to provide the startups and the research to business projects with the best help possible.

Participants are required to show up physically at the qualifications, and if you win your case, to show up at the finals physically as well. Participants are not required to spend the night, but the possibility to do so is arranged.

All the cases have patents at the core of their technology. This is why all participants will be required to sign non-disclosure agreements with the cases' universities. All immaterial rights created at the event are the universities' property.
